How to Get to Bogor from Airport

Jakarta International Airport (Soekarno-Hatta) is the nearest airport to access Bogor-Indonesia, the location of 5th Asian PGPR International Conference for Sustainable Agriculture (http://www.jakartaairportonline.com/).  

By bus

Take DAMRI bus from the Airport Terminal. The DAMRI shelter nears arrival exit gate. We can go there on foot for about 5 mins.

Tickets: Rp. 55.000,- (Economy), Royal Class Rp. 75.000,-

Schedule: 02.00 – 20.00 (every 30 mins) from Bogor. The bus is usually available up to 23.00 from Airport to Bogor.

The route from the Airport to Bogor takes about 2-3 hours depending on the city traffic. The fare from the airport to Bogor varies depend on the traffic condition and TAXI company.

Call for Paper

The organizing committee solicits original research papers in English on the themes mentioned for presentation during the conference. Proceedings of the conference will be published with full length papers on our website. The concept of the conference would be to present the conference themes through Invited Lectures and Poster Presentations that would provide an insight into the various themes of “5th Asian PGPR conference”.

There will be two kinds of presentations, Oral and Posters. Oral presentations are limited to 50, and will be selected from the submitted abstracts or by special invitation by the organizing committee. Posters will be limited to 150. Please see the sample copy of the abstract and a full paper and read their instructions prior to preparation and submission posted on our website.

Full length papers are invited to publish in Proceedings. They should contain Title, Authors, Address, email, Abstract, Introduction, Material & Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgements and References.

The Conference Proceedings will be indexed and archived in the CAB Abstracts database/full-text repository. CABI (Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International) is an international not-for-profit organization that improves people’s lives worldwide by providing information and applying scientific expertise to solve problems in agriculture and the environment. CABI is an International Organization recognised by the UK Government under Statutory Instrument 1982 No. 1071. 


Contributed Papers (Poster):
Based on the organizing committee’s decision, contributed papers will be in special poster sessions. This would provide an opportunity to the participants to present their work in a more informal manner with a personalized interaction with a chance to meet researchers.

Presentation Facilities: Multimedia Projectors for Power Point Presentations (MS Office) will be made available.

Poster Display Facilities: Display Boards will be available for Posters with sizes must not exceed 46 inches (116 cm) wide by 45 inches (114 cm).

Abstract Preparation Guidelines

It is important that you review the conference themes below before submitting the abstract.

Guidelines

Abstracts must report results of original research or other activity of significant merit that relates to PGPR and the related industry
Abstracts must include the following elements: Introduction and review of literature, Objectives, methods, results, and conclusion/significance of the research to the science of PGPR
Abstracts must not be simply a review or progress report, but must contain useful and new information. Abstracts must not include references or footnotes.
Abstracts must be in final form with no grammatical, typographical, or factual errors

NOTE: No abstract that has been presented or is intended to be presented at another meeting shall be submitted for consideration.

B: Type of presentation (select oral or poster)
Specifying a preference between oral and poster presentation type does not guarantee placement in that area.
Oral presentations will be selected by the Organizing committee based on the merit of the abstracts.

C. Oral
There is a limit of one (1) oral presentation per submitter or presenter.
Oral presentations are allocated 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for discussion).
Presentation date and time will be announced at a later date.

D. Poster—Open to all for submission
There is no limit on the number of poster presentations that may be submitted.
Poster presenters are required to be present at their poster during certain time frames throughout the meeting (to be announced).

NOTE: Acceptance of oral presentation submissions will be limited to the first 50 so you are encouraged to submit oral presentation abstracts early. No individual may be the presenter of more than one oral presentation. Posters are open to anyone and no limit to the number of poster submissions. Remember to fully edit and proof your abstract before submitting.

    • Notification of acceptance will be e-mailed to the Presenter (designated per the abstract submission form).

 

Technical Requirements


Use all normal upper- and lowercase alphanumerical and common punctuation available on your keyboard. Use a common text such as Times New Roman only.

    • Please indicate the theme(s) for which the abstract should be considered.

Travel Information

The international delegates are requested to make necessary arrangement for their visas. The information could be obtained from the Indonesian Embassy of the country of origin of the participant. In case of any difficulty, please contact organizers for specific information.

Indonesian Tourist (and Transit) Visas

For many nationalities, Indonesian tourist (and transit) visas are issued on arrival at major airports and seaports in Indonesia. Tourist visas are usually not extendable and not convertible into other types of visa.

Visa Free Entry on Arrival

Visa Free Entry on arrival for 30 (thirty) days free of charge is available for nationals of the following 11 countries and territories: Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

These are countries that offer the same visa-free entry on arrival facility to Indonesian nationals.

Tourist and Transit Visa on Arrival

Tourist and Transit Visa on Arrival is available for nationals of these 52 countries and territories. A transit visa for up to 7 (seven) days costs US $10.00, and a tourist visa for up to 30 (thirty) days costs US $25.00.

Nationalities not listed above should obtain a visa prior to departure.
Visa Free Entry and Visa on Arrival facilities are available at the Immigration check-point at these ports and airports.


Visa Validity

    1. Tourist visas are valid for 30 days, your arrival day is counted as your first day, and you must leave the country on the 30th day.
    2. Tourist visas may only be extended due to natural disaster, illness or accident, and cannot be transferred to another type of visa.
    3. Visa on Arrival is usually not extendable and not convertible into other types of visa.
    4. Overstay visitors incur a penalty of US$20 per day for under 60 days over-stay. More than 60 days over-stay may incur a 5 (five) year prison sentence or a fine of IDR 25.000.000.

Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months from the date of entry into Indonesia.
Please note that tourist visas do not apply to foreigners/expatriates (including members of their family) who are assigned/based in Indonesia.

(You can get a 60-day visa in your home country (you have up to 3 months from date of application to enter Indonesia where you will then get your 60-day stamp) or at one of the countries close to Indonesia like Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore. Usually takes about 3 days and you will need a passport that has at least 12 months left on it, two passport photos, photocopy of the first page of your passport and money to pay for the 60-day visa.)
